    Vol. 1 No. 1 (2026)

The inaugural issue of Journal of Sustainable Smart Technologies (JSST) marks the beginning of our commitment to publishing high-quality, peer-reviewed research that advances sustainable development through emerging technologies. This issue presents seven original research articles addressing contemporary challenges in artificial intelligence, machine learning, cloud computing, software engineering, precision agriculture, cybersecurity, and sustainable digital infrastructures.

The published works demonstrate how intelligent computing technologies can be leveraged to improve efficiency, reliability, resource optimization, and environmental sustainability across diverse application domains. Several articles also highlight the integration of data-driven decision-making, responsible artificial intelligence, software quality improvement, and smart agricultural practices to address real-world societal and industrial challenges.

Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), this issue particularly contributes to SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure), SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), and SDG 13 (Climate Action).

The Editorial Board extends its sincere appreciation to all authors, reviewers, and editorial members whose dedication and scholarly contributions have made the successful publication of this inaugural issue possible. We hope this issue serves as a valuable resource for researchers, academicians, industry professionals, and policymakers working toward innovative and sustainable technological solutions.
